Played through Baldurs Gate 2 last month, now I don't think I can enjoy any video game anymore since they all pale in comparison...

Tough Choice. o.0 Its probably a tie between Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Paper Mario. Although I really liked the first Yakuza game for the PS2. ^_^

Aww, hashel, no love for 5? :-) I really liked 5, although that might be nostalgia value--it was the first Japanese game I imported, so I played it a lot while I was learning to read Japanese.
That game has a lot of really good music, though.

My favourite series would definitely have to be Pokemon. If I had to choose one game in particular,
so far I'd say HeartGold and SoulSilver (but X and Y are likely to change that).
The Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series comes in at a close second for me. :D
[EDIT]
X and Y didn't actually change that. I found them enjoyable, but HGSS still takes the cake...
Until I bring B2W2 into the equation. Now I'm tossing up between them.

I let someone at an import shop convince me Shenmue is easy to play if you have a limited grasp of Japanese.
They were incorrect.

Do you know how much I laughed when I realised that you had listed every game? XD
Touhou does have awesome music though. Can't blame you.

I'm gonna have to go with Bioshock, it's a hard choice because bethesda has made some really good games in it's time like Skyrim and Fallout but bioshock had an atmosphere that no other game could recreate and the storyline was great too :D
