LOL, I will when I get fast enough & memorize it. Some parts of it are still beyond my skill level. You like fingerstyle, so I can see why it's difficult. It actually gets easier for me the higher on the fretboard it goes. :P

yeah if my electric were any cheaper it would be made by fisher price and my amp looks like a small lunchbox and sounds about as good.

So you can imagine I dont use my electric much.

Heh, same here, I put a bit of work into my guitar and it's decent now, plus my playing got pretty good, but I'd definitely be happier with an Ibanez RG ;)

I've been working on this, and it's kind of hard! I thought I might share some fingerings I came up with. I'm not playing it exactly the same since I'm doing it by ear, but I wrote some of it down. The last part I'm playing like this:

Ahh, I'm a lazy guitarist XD I should learn to play it properly, but I probably won't. I'll probably record that part separately then take off the capo. (I'd be splitting it up anyway, because I want to change pickups and move up an octave after that.)

I also keep messing up on the sweep picking part in the middle, where you have three 15s in a row. When I play those notes, it's really sloppy. So I'm trying to learn it like this instead:

This is actually the first time I've ever tried to do string skipping. But when I play it like that, it ends up less sloppy than when I try to sweep pick it. Plus it has this cool legato sound :-)

I'm not sure what to do for a harmony part yet. I started figuring out the harmony parts on guitar, but they seemed even harder than the lead, and I'm not sure it'd sound good with a billion guitars. But I think I'll record bass and lead and then figure out what else it needs. Or something.

Yeah this is really hard for me since I'm not great with electric.

I might work on some easier tabs then come back to this one later x.x

EDIT: Also jumping around on one string like that sounds much harder to me.

This tab is a bit dated, and since you guys brought it up I may look at it later and see if I want to fix any of it. I've heard it played in the middle of the fretboard, and I personally think it sounds better on the higher frets, but then again I always play along with the original song.

Well, I was playing the first and third parts on the lower frets with the bridge pickup, so they sound more distinct from the middle part :-D

Either way, I am interested to hear what you put together. Fillmore is possibly my favorite VGM ever, it's just got so much energy and the bass line is awesome.
