Just an old little easy thing for you all to "pluck" around with. ;)

This is a nice arrangement. I had never heard this theme before and I was expecting something more happy or upbeat but this has kinda a minor feel to it. Interesting.

I love this song. I remember after I was done playing Animal Crossing, I would just space out at the title screen listening to this song. I like the arrangement, the song has kind of a jazzy feel to it.

OMG! I love this theme! I was gonna play it on the piano, but with the guitar it's awesome too! THANKZ

Just like in the much loved game, very sad kinda feel to it. Nicely arranged, too.

There's something about this song, it just feels really good to play

I'm sure it's because I usualy don't do fingerpicking, but I can play all kind of shred junk, which I dont even like, but not this.

It's an arrangement, not a transcription, so the "real," way to play it is whatever I decide it is.
tl;dr No.
^_^

not whatever you decide... because your way is not the actual notes played....and it sounds screwy

This site posts both transcriptions, which are intended to be the exact notes from songs, and arrangements, which are not necessarily identical to the originals (they can be interpretive). If you don't like arrangements, then you can stick to the tabs which are transcriptions. You can always submit a transcription of your own :-)

I was just being smarmy, but all in good fun.
That being said, I don't know what you mean by "not the actual notes played." The only difference between mine and yours is that you are keeping the harmony while ignoring the entire bass side of the piano part while I'm combining the two. I chose to make this arrangement as easy as possible so I left out a lot of the harmony and just stuck to melody over bass. You're playing the harmonies but IGNORING the bass.
If it sounds screwy trying listening to the original again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx6CEARVP68
And like I said earlier and Auri as well, this is an arrangement, not a transcription. I could always make a more advanced version and make it much richer harmonically, but this was intended as a beginner piece.

I don't even think the guitar can go as low as the piano is in the song that's why they call it a bass.... if you want to play bass play a bass and stop trying to put it into guitar....... a guitar is treble, that is what it was made for. If people want to play treble and bass let them play the paino. Guitar is meant for TREBLE!

Spectacular arrangement as always Kabuki.. And that Yedigoot guy doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. It appears he just likes to make corrections that aren't correct, and criticize people WAY more experienced, such as yourself :P.
