This song sounds best in standard tuning, I think, but the intro has a
low D, so I've tabbed it two ways:
1. Four-string, drop-D
2. Five-string, standard tuning
For the second tab, since only the intro requires the low B string, I
left it off of the rest of the tabs (so it can be played on a four
string).
Technically, the part with the low D isn't a bass part, it's an organ;
the rest of the song is the actual bass part. But it sounds cool on a
bass :-) Also, this song sounds like it is played on a fretless, in
the game.

Thanks! :-) This was one of my first tabs, and I'm surprised it didn't have more errors. I went ahead and fixed a couple other small things, too.

Nice, the tab is much better now :D I only have one tiny little error I found left, and even mentioning this feels incredibly nitpick-y, but I listened to the bassline to the actual song just on it's own, and this part (bars 1 - 4):
and this part (bars 9 - 12):
the first 5 on D is just held rather than being hit again. So the 5 in bar 1 is held to bar 3 rather than being played again, and the same for bars 9 and 11, so it should look more like this:

Hopefully what I'm trying to convey is easy to understand :) Again, absolutely fantastic tab, to be honest most of the bass tabs I learn on this site are from you, so thank you for that too! (sorry again if the formatting of the tabs come out funny).

Yeah, it does sound like the note is held down. Good catch.
Also while you're updating the tab anyway auri, this is one of the songs Nobuo Uematsu wrote, not Mitsuda.
