L means let ring. just let the last note ring out when you see it.

I see, the "L" is supposed to be a tied note. But I don't get what that means practically, because if there is a note and an L right below, all under duration of an 8th note, should I play the note above the "L" and hold it for the duration of a quarter note, because I double the note duration? If that's right, why not just write an "Q" above instead of the "E" and leave out the tied note? It just makes no sense to me...

Well Peter, it's just the way guitar pro works. It only thinks in single voice, and doesn't really make accommodations for classical style pieces like this. I agree it's pretty stupid and I hope the next version of GP takes classical pieces into consideration.

Ok, thanks archard, didn't knew that. Good to know it's not something more difficult instead. :) And I am very thankful that this tabs doesn't have any slurs in it, it hate those things because I never hit the string right when doing the hammer on and my pull-offs sound very muffled too. Maybe I get them someday. Very nice TAB btw, still one of my favourite songs.

so ive been wathing he guy who tab this songs video for like 4 months now messing around trying to learn it from the video and then i find this haha i feel retarded, this song is amazing, its been my favorite video game sing i was in 1st grade, i remember my next door neighbor got it from a goodwill and gave it to me, i still have the game, but no super nintendo anymore.its kinda sad, oh well ZSNES still works haha thanx for the tab bro.

Hrm, I don't know why this doesn't work for me, I'm pretty sure I'm tuned right, from the top of the guitar down is: e B G D A E
But it sounds way too low when I'm playing, especially when it says to play on the "e" string.

You Rock dude, thanks for tabs, and ppl, don't limit yourself to WATCH the video, i mean LISTEN to the song he's playing while both guitars, what he did is to record the first guitar and play it on the background, while playing the second on the recording of the video. 0 means to play the string open and not press down any frets. L means a tied note, which is to sustain the last note played. So on the second measure it says to play the D string open and let the note continue ringing as you play the higher notes. This song might be a little complicated for a beginner.
