Are you sure about the Shio? According to this site http://clannad.wikia.com/wiki/Ushio_(song), Ushio is correct. I guess the confusion is caused by the fact that 'Ushio' is written with kanji for 'Shio' (汐), which means tide. I think. I'm not an expert.
But you are right about that last chord, it does sound bit better.

I haven't played the game, but I looked up the title on Japanese Wikipedia, and it was listed as 汐 without a reading. Well, shio would be the usual reading there, but ushio is also possible (see Wiktionary). So how do we choose?
It looks like there's a character named Ushio, so that sounds like the right reading in this context... My guess is that both song titles should be read the same way (probably Ushio), and that the difference is because whoever uploaded the first track on Youtube read the title the wrong way. So I'd leave yours as Ushio unless someone finds something more conclusive saying it's wrong.

Yes I am sure of it. It's called Ushio on the wikia, because that's what some random person calls it. Wikia sites have information that is not always legit. But I've looked all around the web and saw that it's called Shio. I dnt remember what the name of the website was called unfortunately. But the name Shio is legit. I'm very familiar with the Japanese names of Clannad and other anime :P

The only way to verify this is if u got the actual CD that has this song on it. And whatever the name of the song is on that CD is the official name of this song.

Every single different wiki site, and the VGMdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/555) lists it as 'Ushio' or "'Ushio' (汐)". The home page of Key Sounds Label (http://key.soundslabel.com/ost.html), the most official source, lists it as "汐". Reading the kanji as "Ushio" makes sense also storywise, as it is the name of important character, and this alternative reading is precisely mentioned in the anime and visual novel. Only source where I saw the use of name 'Shio' for the song, was some Youtube videos. So yeah, I'm not really convinced about 'Shio'.

as i said before, the only way to really verify it is if u got the cd that has that song. And look on the back of the case to see the name of the song. whatever the name of that song it says is the official name. Even if i did that, no one would have a reason to believe me.

Every website that sells it says it's just 汐, which means you have to decide how to read it. Looking at a picture of the back of the CD, you can see it's true on the album itself, as well. The reason people disagree about how to read it (Shio or Ushio) is because there's no reading specified and more than one is possible.
I'm still not convinced, so I'm going with Ushio. If you can find some evidence somewhere that it's Shio and feel strongly about it, please feel free to present it! No one thinks you're lying or anything like that--it's just that you haven't found anything convincing yet.
