Dragon Quest I Overworld Theme(tremolo) Composed by Koichi Sugiyama tabbed by musenji, 2010 Inspired by a request for tremolo pieces, I decided to do my next tab up as a tremolo. It's a classical technique; you hit every bass note with your thumb, and the melody notes with your ring, middle, and pointer fingers, in that order. ..Ridiculously fast, that is. A primer on the technique and a study for the left hand fingering follow the tab. And remember that it's more important to be able to do it evenly, than to do it fast. It's a mix of relaxation and control. If you need more info, just look up classical guitar tremolo. You shouldn't have any trouble finding a hundred different people teaching it for free. :-) ********* The following study establishes the left hand fingerings. If you remove the repeat notes in the melody, it makes for a non-tremolo version of the piece. Hey! i was just thinking, "there should be some tremelo compositions on this site". I like this, but i think i could have been longer. Though i have never actually played this game, it was still fun to play the song.
