I thought I'd point out that if you listen to and read the tabs to both this and Noah's Lute from FFIII, you can tell that this song was modeled after the one from the previous game. Its not exactly the same but Noah's Lute is a 30 second tune whereas Melody of Lute is a full piece, and the chord progressions are the same for the most part.
I've noticed he reuses a lot of his music, actually, but then again, each game is anywhere between 30 and 80 different songs, and there's 12 final fantasys let alone other games he's contributed to, so I cant really fault him for it, at least its only noticable if you're a game music junkie like me (i hardly even listen to regular music anymore!).. thought i'd point that out
