After a lot of fooling around with this piece I've finally managed to get it to work as a solo instead of a duet. This means that all 4 tiers are complete for solo guitar! The tunings are normal and I think they are all quite playable with some work. Good luck!

It's like your first Suite for guitar solo. Though, there's is no slow movement and one of them uses a different tuning. :|

Yeah, talk about frustrating. I really wanted this all in the same tuning but I just couldn't get tier 2 into drop D without it messing it all up and making it much harder than it needed to be. Ah well.

This is really nice, and I like it for what it is. However, when I first saw Omnicide's solo arrangement, I understood why you originally made a duet. I'm kinda still standing by that mindset here based on the way some of this turned out from a playability standpoint. Other parts of this are really ace, though, I gotta say.
Despite the fact that I prefer your duet, I think this is probably the best that a Tier 3 solo guitar tab will get, and it is very impressive.

I think it's all pretty playable really. Which parts are you talking about? I considered including an alternate, easier version for things like measure 21-36 and measure 51. Are those the sections you're talking about? If so I can upload the alternate versions for those part as well...

I think I may have jumped the gun on my previous comment a bit. Those measures you mentioned actually were the majority of what I was initially referring to. Most of 21-36 was wasn't that difficult at lower tempos, but there were some tricky parts. After spending a little more time with the trouble spots I had, I don't think they pose the problems that I originally thought.
Measure 51 is definitely hard, though, XD. I wouldn't mind having an alternate version of that lol.
The only other main issue I have is measure 43. It isn't really a playability issue, but more of making that transition in the middle of the measure sound good.
I think the really fast tempo + lots of finger movement is what gave me my initial impression of the playability. I don't think I'll be able to play it competently at full tempo without an outrageous amount of time put in, but I've changed my mind on it's playability. It is really well made, Kabuki.

Okay, I uploaded a new zip file which has an alternate version for those measures I talked about.
As far as the transition in the middle of measure 43, I do a 1/2 barre of the 4's with my pinky rather than play them with individual fingers if that helps at all.

I think that this is a really great compromise, Kabuki. Your original is really starting to win me over, but this is what I'll probably have to fall back to if I want to play it at full tempo lol XD.
