Seriously, they must have been on some good shit to have came up with both of those character designs. It's a shame they didn't discard of them though after they returned to reality...

Anyway, thanks for commenting. Keep going, I have a shitload of tabs on this site, haha (and a shitload of old tabs that reaaaaaaaaaally need major improvements too... I was young, back then mad Don't be too harsh with these :'( ) :p And I saw the suggestions you made on some tabs. I'll check that out as soon as I have some spare time.

Yeah, I think I noticed a general improvement over time, like the tabs you did more recently turned out better on average? But then, you were popping out some solid stuff back in '09 too.

The drugs bit was just kidding around because I was like, okay, the tab looked normal for a while, but what the eff happened?

Then Auriplane told me all about how tabs' life get flipped, turned upside down, and have you thinking that your mind is playing tricks, but nope, it's just a tab output with GP6.

Glad to know that you'll be seeing all the comments! There's a lot of positive that I have had to say about your work. :-)

I do think that in cases where outputting with GP6 resulted in measures being all different sizes, the tabs could definitely use some hand-editing. Not everybody has GP6 and it's really convenient for people to be able to just look at the tab on the website itself and read it.

Now, obviously it's not like you owe it to anybody to do this, but if you really want your tab to reach the masses, then it's a good step to take imo. It also increases the likelihood that I will record a given tab. ;-) haha

In GP6, for each measure, it figures out the exact number of subdivisions necessary to place all the notes and rests on a grid, then gives each subdivision a minimum of 3 columns (usually exactly that). That way, in theory at least, stuff is spaced out proportionate to rhythm. (You'll notice they got rid of the note value indicators above the staff from GP5 which made it possible to sightread tabs).

It also adds a 2-column margin to either side, which makes it more difficult to see the subdivisions, and it splits up extremely wide measures across multiple lines, as you can see here.

It's not a very good algorithm.

Haha thanks ^^ And yeah, when exported in txt format through GP6, these tabs looks like shit, tbh. That's why I always include a pdf in the archive. Anyway, for my few latest arrangements, I converted the tabs from GP6 to GP5 file, and then exported them to txt file. This is much more clearer than before.
