I don't know if it was meant to be this way or not, but it sounds a lot better to me when any duplicate notes are treated as sustains, like if there were ties between them.

Something like this maybe?

In fact if you go to see the execution of the piece you'll see that duplicate sounds are linked but in tablature is not, and I do not know why. If you are downloading you will see that the notes are linked.

Yeah, it's one of the many limitations of TuxGuitar. It doesn't export very good text files :-( It ruins all the tied notes (shows a number instead of L).

Better is to export to GP5, load it up in Guitar Pro 5, and export in that. (Not GP6, since GP6 text export is atrocious.)
