Chords are pointless in a piece such as this. Just follow the fingerings maybe??

It sounds perfect with the plucking of the strings.

Getting there though, I love this tab and I will keep at it.

Not 100% sure what you mean...If you accent the 1st and 3rd and 4th notes it brings out the melody and that measure makes sense. Anyway, glad you're having fun with it. :)

the reason people are asking for chords is that they want to know the exact fingering. with just tabs bad habits can form wich will ultimately hurt your performance. although it is a good composition but hardly origional.... but who cares right? share the music =P

That E stands for an 'Eighth' note - meaning the note duration is an eighth of a bar (when the tab is in 4/4 time). Since this piece is in 3/4 time (meaning 3 Quarter note beats per bar), there will only be 6 of these notes denoted with E above them in each bar. The bars are separated by the | character.

If that still isn't making sense, in this song it means that every 'bar' will have 6 notes of equal duration when all notes have the E above them. If you tried counting '1-And-2-And-3-And-1-And-2-And-3-And...' over and over, the E means you would play a note every time you sounded the 'number' or 'and' out. There are other note durations used in the piece, which are;

  • Q - Quarter note. This one needs to be held twice as long as the Eighth note, hence there will be 3 of these in each bar. Going back to the '1-And..', these notes will be played every time you count a number
  • S - Sixteenth note. As you might have guessed, these need to be held half as long as an Eighth note - you play two sixteenth notes in the same time it takes to play one Eighth note
  • . - a full stop or dot next to the Letter means that you need to hold it for the notes duration, plus half as long again. In the example of Q. which is seen in this piece, while an ordinary Q means you hold the note for as long as 2 Eighths 'E E', the dotted Q means you will need to hold the note for as long as 3 Eighth notes
If you wanted to learn more, give a quick google search on note durations and tabs (can't hyperlink but there are plenty out there), or i'm happy to field questions. Let me know if that helps at all!
