he means that the actual song is too complexed to be tabbed out on a single guitar.

The one note at a time is the vocals... last time I checked vocals can only be one note a time.

Most songs can't be tabbed onto a single guitar... Most tabs don't sound like the songs, because the real songs have remixed notes inside. All the extra notes you hear, you're supposed to come up with on your own to fancy it up.

This is the base of the song. It's more of a foundation than anything.
