Best tab of this song I have ever heard. It actually synchronises the melody and bass together instead of just providing accompanying bass notes for the melody (I do theory but I can't remember what its called xD)

There's got to be a way to express how much you love a thing without telling a lie--and what's more, a lie that is so weirdly specific that it sounds like it wouldn't ever be made up.

("I play this as my wakeup ritual every day" is really, really specific.)

Not very accurate to the original version in terms of the underlying chords and harmonies, but it's a nice spin on it nonetheless. Playability is very solid and it sounds pretty good, but it doesn't have quite as much emotion or intricacy as some others. I do like it, though. It's easier than Stamen's while having significantly more depth than the single-string melodies that plague this site.

I'm an old stickler for keeping things as faithful as possible, but that's entirely my personal preference. Objectively speaking, nice work!

Hey ! Thanks for your comment. Constructive criticism as I like it. Still, you say this tab is not very accurate to the original version, and you're right... But as an arrangement (not a transcription), it doesn't have to sound 100% exactly like the original track, in my opinion. :P I understand it when you say it your personnal preference, though.

I always strive for note-for-note, but even I recognize that some pieces simply can't be arranged that way. Nice work!

Did you take Stamen's as inspiration? A number of the measures are exactly the same, musically (though the drop-D tuning alters the fingering a bit).

I didn't actually used Stamen's tab as an inspiration, but since I learned to play his arrangement back when I discovered GameTabs, and I still play it sometimes, I guess it has influenced the way I worked on this piece.

I would agree with you that, as an arrangement and not a transcription, you get to take a few liberties.

Some of the best songs ever made are arrangements of the original.

Asturias (Leyenda) was originally written for the piano, but I much prefer it for guitar, and it's soooo different. I would give the original a 4/5 and the guitar version a 5/5.
