It's pretty straight-forward. A bit different from other versions, very true to the
original. Use your thumb for bass notes on the Low E. See the attached power tab for further detail, or check out the midi if you like.

Do you transposed from another version than http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7G_aaak-tDE ? Because I'm used with this version, and the rythm you transposed in the 4th & 8th bar seems not correct,

I'm used to lesson/play it like :

Track 1
E  Q    Q    E
E||------------------||
B||------------------||
G||--2---------------||
D||-----2----2----2--||
A||--0---------------||
E||------------------||

& same idea for bars n° 12. I don't like your last chord, I'd play instead a simple A(V) for ex : [ x 0 x 6 5 5 ] here I like your arrangement, its the easiest finger-step I saw for this song then it 's in my favorites :)

Hey, thanks for the feed-back! that link is the version of the song that I worked from (the same as the game). I took a little liberty with bars 4, 8 and 12 (and other various places, really) simply because i just liked having the little bit of diversity in the notes/pattern there rather than an extended bit of holding/ re-picking the previous notes. i used that particular pattern in those few places for a sense of familiarity, though there's always room for improvement. :P

the little swing of the pattern you posted is also an interesting touch (the diversity in the timing is nice), but i figured my version should be a bit different if it were to be worth posting yet another version. heh

as for the final chord, there were more notes available to choose from than there were strings on the guitar, so I picked out the ones that i thought made most sense. (much of the song uses what i believe are 5th harmonies (i may be wrong, i have an ear for notes, but little knowledge of theory. xD), so i liked that the final chord was essentially 3 different notes and the appropriate harmonies for each. :D your chord works fine as well, it's just missing a couple of the notes from mine.a variation of my chord where the g-string is left open also sounds nice.

simplicity is my sort of my specialty, as I believe that I am much better at writing / arranging than I am at performing. haha xD
