Just how are you suposed to play this?

Forgo the 1 on the Low E string or the 3 on the D string. I suggest removing the 3 since you can still retain a strumming pattern with
|----0------- |----3------- |----2------- |----0------- |----3------- |-1--1-------
Same note, different octave. Remove one, or do a partial barre with your ring finger.

A thumb is a finger too. That makes FIVE! :P
Point the thumb at an angle towards the other fingers (if needed, it can go straight too but its a bit of a stretch)

I tried your technique and it worked! It's difficult to hold but it rang true and with enough practice I will be able to master it. I remember the first time I saw a thumb used on the e string was Hendrix.

You sick, sick bastard.
Guessing you didn't try this on a nylon string guitar. But it worked, even with my full size (2" wide at the nut) classical.
(For reference, steel string guitars are usually 1 3/4" wide or even 1/16" less than that. Makes a HUGE difference.)

K. Thanks!

Perfect except, during the very last part, the 1 after the 5 should be a 0 Long stretch part |-5--0-----------3--------5-----------7--3-------- |-------------3--------------5-------------------- |------------------------------------------------- |------------------------------------------------- |------------------------------------------------- |-1-----------3-----------1-----------3-----------
and on the lower part, the 3 should be a 2
Or lower |------------------------------------------------ |-------------------------------------0---------- |-2--------------0--------2--------------0------- |----2--------0--------------2------------------- |------------------------------------------------ |-1-----------3-----------1-----------3----------
At least that's how I'm hearing it. Otherwise this is a great tab. Really hard song to figure out by ear.

Yeah to my ear Mirrors and I had the same idea. Great tab otherwise! Time to go hit some people in their feels.;D

Thanks for the tab!
Guys, if you up 1/2 tone the 6th chord, (E -> F), the song is much easier to play!

Very nice! The last section is a pain though so if I record this ever, I'll be looking at all the alternative options for it. :p
