Just a small note: At the end, after the last Outro part, just finish with an e minor strum or arpeggio or whatever.

Excuse me, but I can't quite understand your point of view of "unnecessary". These power chords are even in the original song by Kondo, played by the accordion - it would have been rather short if I had left them out of the song, but more important, it is part of the song IMHO.

There aren't any unnecessary things in an arrangement because it's that person's INTERPRETATION of the music. It's like saying there are too many unnecessary words in your statement (I can't reasonably argue that, but you might want to spell check next time) :/
