What makes this piece sound nice is the details in the accompaniment and if I tried to arrange it for one guitar, some of the little details like adding or dropping a finger between two chord changes would be lost. It would probably sound too blocky and harsh as well. I tried to do it before I wrote this version but it didn't sound very good. There were too many times where it sounded empty or where I need my fingers to be in two places on the fretboard at once.
