A new theme created for the 2024 Silent Hill 2 remake on PS5 and PC. This and all it's other tracks,
as well as the 2001 original game themes were created by Akira Yamaoka. Personally, I haven't yet been
able to spot where (or if) this plays in-game, exactly. It is track no. 37 on disc 2 of the accompanying
3 part Silent Hill 2 Original Soundtrack - 2024.

Since there is no guitar in this track, I would suggest that all instruments are virtual here, as is
most typical for Yamaoka. The lower pitch playing underneath the mando, at times in octaves, sounds
like a Japanese koto to me, but this is impossible to confirm at the moment. Do play the mandolin
with a sustained tremolo, unless noted otherwise. GDae standard tuning mandolin transcript.
