In Japanese, these are called the touch pen stages.  I suppose it'd be
rendered as "touch screen stages" in English, but whatever.  I'm assuming
the titles I found are official English titles, but I only have the game
in Japanese, so...

I made two versions for this.  The five-string version eschews open strings,
while the four-string version embraces them :-)  Both are in standard tuning.
The measures are divided in half (so it looks like 2/4 time) to make it
easier to see the rhythm.  The GP5 and PDF are in 4/4, however.
