Nice tab, but how is anyone supposed to play that seven fret stretch? I have big hands, and the only way I can do it is by playing the third fret on the low E string with my thumb and the 10th fret on the high E with my pinky

Mate just watch the video example, that's what I do as well. And I have average hands.

Ah, I see how you did it now. Just gotta prepare the thumb before that little section. Thanks for the help, and on an unrelated note, did you ever upload a video for Romance 1 from BG2? I can't get the tab to flow smoothly even with that trick you told me about using the knuckle of the fretting pinky to hold down some of the notes

To be honest I'll make a new arrangement of it before I try and record it. I havn't done any BG stuff in a while, so I'll try and do it soon.

i know it is not impossible, that's why i put impossible to the " ". but try to do it on steel string acoustic guitar which has wider frets than classical guitar. it is not impossible but it is damn hard.

Well, I don't think I will be able to play this in the next years with sufficient speed:

That's just crazy. Muting the b string accurately with my pinky - well ok. But then getting the a and d string right without muting the g. I can't do it very well when I'm playing extremly slow, I think I'm breaking my hand.
The part with the big stretch seems comparatively easy.

Try changing the file name from .tab to .txt and open it in notepad.
You can also open the .tab file in wordpad, but the formatting was messed up when I tried.

If the formatting is messed up when you open a .tab file in Wordpad, change the font to Courier.

Tried that but some of the lines are too long to fit unless you decrease the font size alot.

Ah, you need to change "Word wrap" to "No wrap" in that case.

So I am really new at finger picking, like seriously this is my first time actually trying to. This tab I'm sure is great, it's just out of my skill level, by far. Is there a way to simplify it?

This song is deceptively difficult, the notes are simple but it's fast and jumps can be tricky.
Slow it down and take it step by step.,this songs notes are fairly simple. I've been playing for 4 years and still can't play this song perfect, so just keep grinding away at it.

you need to use the <.pre> and <./pre> tags before and after your commented to to define pre-formatted text and have it displayed in a fixed width font (just delete the . from each)
for example...
