This return story is particular to GAMESTOP because it had a big yellow sticker saying GAMESTOP $49.99. It's not like they couldn't resale it for exactly that price. And they said it "wouldn't" scan but I think they're full of caca.

also, on the topic of rumors for next gen, apparently the creative team for the new WiiU, or whatever the fuck theyre gonna call it, was interviewed about the specs of the new system: when asked how it will compare with ps3 and xbox 360, the developers stated that when it is released, it will be approximately "on par" with the current consoles... umm, okay, so by that time ps4 and the next xbox (720?) will be released, and the WiiU (?) will be on par with the prior forms of those respective consoles. i think nintendo finally shit the bed; their gonna effectively bankrupt themselves for releasing an obsolete and shitty new system (apparently the controller is going to be a tablet... some will like it, sure they will, but not i). i see little to no future for nintendo as a console developer; they should just say fuck it and develop games, no more systems, unless they keep making handhelds (even though the 3DS KINDA flopped).

also, apparently steam is going to be making a system; im excited to see what that might be all about.

Dude, It's Nintendo.

All the stuff they release is out of date, Cheaply made with no support. And guess what? people eat them up. Nintendo releases the same games over and over and over again and cash in.

Look at the 3DS compared to the Vita. The Vita is a powerhouse. Something we all wanted forever in a handheld but it's selling horribly compared to the 3DS. The only thing going for that handheld is the "3D" and that's about it. Nintendo's strength is to market to children.

1. make under powered system.

2. Rehash the same Mario games on each system.

3. Collect millions of dollars.

This is nothing new, Look at the Wii, The thing is dead for the most part and had almost no games yet it sold Millions and allowed Nintendo to release a new console that will again bring in millions while being behind in ever category possible.

People complained that they wanted a faster way to travel over see.

So this plane is made turning a 8+ hour flight into 2 hours.

People didn't want to pay for the quality and now it's gone.

People say they want an awesome system and then Bitch when it comes time to pay for it. People complained about the Vita having a 32 GB memorycard the size of a fingernail costing 100 bucks, while Apple charges 100+ for a 15 GB difference in their Ipods. So apple is allowed to charge 100 bucks for 15 gbs but sony can't charge 100 bucks for 32gbs.

youre absolutely right gio; i cant say i was shocked at what nintendo "plans" to do for the next system, but i was taken aback a bit, considering nintendo is one of the mega corporations in gaming, at least they used to be. given im playing through ocarina of time as we speak, really puts their fall from grace into perspective; now dont get me wrong, i dont mean the zelda franchise, those games have remained fun to play, but the road nintendo has set itself on is just horrible. i say they give up now, and do what atari and sega did. stick to making games for the companies that are still relevant and keep up-ing the ante. i say that if steam does indeed develop their own system, nintendo should sign over and develop games for them; i can see steam being among the new top 3

Nintendo's only strength right now is to market to children. The 3DS did Horrible at launch and Nintendo's poor planning had the system without any real games for 6+Months. And Sadly the only thing to save that Handheld was a rehash of a Zelda Game. Japan in the gaming world is nothing more then a sad shell of it's former self.

The price drop and every little kid wanting one at Christmas is what saved it. Nintendo has this way of Marketing to people who have no clue about gaming or still poop their pants. Large sell numbers don't dictate quality. The Iphone and Ipad sell more then the xbox and ps3, Does that make them better gaming systems like every says?

Twilight and Justin bieber sell more then LOTR and FF OSTs but does that make them better?

I will go further and Point out that Nintendo does realize this with their attempts to "win back the core gamer" with putting "HD" into the Wii U. They also are shooting Ads out targeting older teens/20's making the 3Ds look like the Fun In thing to do with friends.

these devices are largely different

the first two arent even specifically designed for gaming and have many other functions, the target demographic for these two devices is much larger

Heh, you seem very upset Giogio. Anyway, I do agree that Nintendo botched the 3DS launch. I don't think it was really Ocarina of Time that helped turned things around, though. It's a damn fine game, but it was really the price drop, Mario Kart, and Mario 3D Land (and Monster Hunter in Japan). We'll see how things go when they release New Super Mario Bros. 2. 2D Mario games always sell really well.

Anyway, as long as they keep putting games that I want on Nintendo systems, I'll keep getting them. Even if WiiU is behind compared to PS4 and X-Box3, it'll still be nice to have Nintendo games in HD.
