Well, the key is practice and ang on.

I start when I was like 21 y.o. and never take a lesson, so it was very hard for me, but i just hang on and practice ( well i don't practice really much , lol , i play guitar 5 days a week for like 40 min. at day ) now i'm 24 and I still suck a lot, but now i can do thing that at the beginning looks like impossible to me.

I love play videogame music and play with friend some good punk, old metal or hard rock song.

i really like to play guitar, and I hang on . . .

So , thats just this : if you love guitar , practice and hang on, day after day you will become better . . .

If you want to became good, you have to love to play guitar . . . if you don't , well . . . just quit.

So.. yeah , you right, what I'm trying to say is I don't know the right practicing method and I want you guys to tell me the right practicing method. About patience , dedication and love , I think I still have them :) and they are still growing , unlike my skill.

About tabs that only using one or two string , I think I have reached the level where I can play them the same time I look at them (the effect of using to many tab , and not playing by ear or any other musical notation) , but that's about it. It's stuck for a year. if I trained it for more 10 years maybe the only thing that will improve is I could play it just by clicking the tab link

@SalemJeanette: I hope I could say that :( but if I quit now there won't be any difference as I'm just the same with people who haven't even started playing guitar yet , gah what am I saying I suck at english but you get what I meant. btw why don't you give me any suggestion :( what if I say you are the one who inspired me to play guitar , will you feel bad ? but no I was lying

btw I have an e-mail account dedicated just for that , I've subscribed for bazilion guitar lesson out there , but most of them just spam and promotion. oh and I am taking class again but they are just teaching me to play like you know plucking chord C and G7.

I'm thinking of stopping but I''m reaching the end of book 1 , so .. yeah ..

Learn C G Am and F chords. You only need these to be a chick magnet

more seriously, get a metronome and learn chords and how they're build

I learned some chords other than I previously mentioned , but I don't know how to play them or strum them ^^; so.. yeah..

I will have to post more about scales later, as I am busy. But maybe you could use Google, or maybe someone else will explain about them.
