so let's go for a little thing about scales. Pardon my errors, I'm not used to explain these things in English...

We'll begin with a scale you already know: Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si

This is the Ionian Do scale (or major Do scale).

      2nd Position                           4th Position

Here's the 2nd and 4th position of the Ionian scale.

So what I want you to do is simple: everyday, when you get your guitar, put your metronome at a chosen speed and play these patterns ascending and descending.

This kind of exercises will train your ears, fingers and prepare you for improvisation.

This is the 1st position of the Pentatonic scale (Do pentatonic for this example). You can play this scale over any classic rock/blues, I IV V, chord progression (Do Fa Sol for this example). Once you're familiar with this scale, try to improvise on songs you like by using it. :)

Sorry for bein' impatient , but the last page only contain lesson that enrich my vocabulary of foreign languages , so , yeah ... :p

But , sorry for being stupid , I don't really understand your lesson as a theory , but in the meantime I could use the tab for practicin' my fingers. Oh yeah , I don't have a metronome , should I have it ? Is it crucial for my guitar training ?

I think it would be nice if there is a guitar lesson page somewhere in this great site ..

Yeah , soo I have been taking lesson for about almost a year.

What they taught me so far are .. wait , what have they taught me ?

Jokes aside , they just taught me what in the book (I'm still in fundamental not even book 1 yet) and I just racing trough the book as fast as I can (to minimalize the payment , lol).
